Visit Allakolla Estate Natural Pool In Sri Lank 2022

Knuckles mountain range or Dumbara forest is really another tourist haven in our country. There are plenty of places to visit even if it takes months for a traveler to visit this forest. You can get a good experience even if you study the lifestyle of the people who live alone in the forest like waterfalls, animal shelters, trees, streams. We can see 05 main mountain peaks in this Knuckles forest spread over 230 square kilometers or 17825 hectares. Among them, the highest mountain peak in this smoky forest area is the Gombania mountain peak which is 6248 feet.

And Knuckles is 6112 feet for the second, Kirigalpotta is 5403 feet for the third and Dotulugala is 5164 feet. Generally, we think that Knuckles is the highest mountain peak in Knuckles forest, but actually Gombania mountain peak is the highest peak of the mountain in Knuckles forest. So today we are ready to go to the foothills of the Gombania mountains. But some people go to climb the top of the mountain, but today we are ready to take a bath in another natural pool at the foot of the Gombania mountain.

We left early in the morning and reached Katugastota from Kolaba via Kandy. It was around 7:00 in the morning. After getting our breakfast from Katugastot, it was past 10 am when we reached Hulugaga through Madawala Panwila. Actually, the journey from Panwila to Hulagaga is a very difficult journey, and there is no shortage of scenic views on the winding road. Therefore, we did not forget to stop the vehicle at several places and see the beautiful views of the surrounding mountain range. Our destination is located on the road to Allakolla Estate that runs to the left in the middle of Hulagaga town. That means the upper end of the Allakolla Estate ends at the part called Ratnathanna.

Our natural swimming pool is located at the beginning of the reserve at the foot of the Gombania mountains in this Ratnathanna section. If you are going to climb the top of Gombania mountain, you have to go to Ratnathan via this Allakolla Estate. When you go up from Huluga, if you want to buy something suddenly, there is no shop, so Yasasui and Saneen went and brought some things like biscuits to cook. Ratnathanena is located in Allakolla Estate, about 08 km from Hulagaga city. We entered the Allakolla Estate along the Allakolla Estateroad.

As soon as we entered this estate, we felt a very strange feeling. Flowers planted on both sides of the plantation road add a charming sight to the road. Also, the big trees that are planted in a row or straight up are as if there are giants on both sides of the road to protect us. Actually, if these trees planted by british are added to the green garden, it will be a very charming sight. While going up along the Hulugaga Valley, the beauty of the Thalia Falls on the left, which catches our eye, has increased even more.

We are about to go to Taliya Vetuna Falls on a trip another day. Then I will tell you the details. After reaching a few kilometers on the plantation road, we left the road at once and stopped our vehicle.
I answered his question by saying, where is the you are going? Today is the gentleman’s holiday, there are no gentlemen in the garden. I will call the watcher at the upper gate and tell the gentlemen to leave. Two gates have been placed near the factory in Allakolla Estate, one is the officer of the watchers of the estates to stop the vehicles going up there.

When we were about 2 km up from the factory, another watcher stopped our vehicle. By that time, we had reached Ratnathanna part of Allakolla Estate. The road leading up from the factory was very dilapidated. Back then, the white people paved these roads with tar, but today, there are only black stones on the ground. But even if it’s a van, be careful. The watcher who stopped us at Ratnathan was also informed about our destination. The road leading to the south near a row of limes was closed with a gate. Sir, this is why we go to Holiday Resort, but we can’t go by car, now the road is very broken, so we have to go on foot. But there is a place near here where you can bathe, if you want, you can bathe there. He explained the information to us by saying.

Anyway, we thought it would be better to go to the place where we came to bathe, so we started our journey on foot. The watcher charged Rs. 200 per person and brought us to Ratnathanne natural swimming pool in a short way. We have already walked up to 4000 feet above sea level and the journey is amazing.

It is a wonderful sight to see the misty clouds that kiss the top of Mount Gembania on the left and kiss the top of Mount Gembania on the left as the canals and jungles come from the side of the jungles along the abandoned tea houses with all the luggage and lunch. Anyway, we reached our destination after about 30 minutes of travel. All of us said with one voice that there is no harm in bringing the pine cones. The natural swimming pool at the foot of Gombania mountain is really such a beautiful place.

At the foot of the Allakolla Mbaya reserve, which starts at Gombania mountain, this swimming pool was built using large blocks of stone about 30 years ago. It is a place where a person who comes here can enjoy the beauty of the world without any human being in sight. Due to the purity of the water flowing here, you can see the view of the bottom of the pool very clearly. Also, since this place is controlled by the management officer of Allakolla Estate, it should be really appreciated if facilities have been provided for the sanitation of the people coming and going. But even though our group came with the intention of taking a bath, Mbshadanam gave up the idea of taking a bath early because of their thoughts in the water. Anyway, while Yasasu and Saneen were spinning, a stone slipped and fell into the bathtub, so they had a good bath.

Anyway, we wanted to come back before the evening, so we said goodbye to Ratnathanne’s swimming pool. So, if you go to experience the beauty of this place one day, we remind you to protect the environment.
